Waltham Forest Race Equality Council has joined forces with other organisations in the past across East and North London  working partnership to eliminate this long standing racial hatred problem.

New wave of Hate Crime links with the incident of Coronavirus.

 The  perspective of this new project will have in focus:

.   Hate crime advice & advocacy and sign posting where appropriate.

.   Establish a community Witness & Support Team- a team of volunteers who  will be trained to reach victims of hate crime.

.   Speak to community Organisations about hate crime ,how to report and what can be done to support victims.

.  Distributing leaflets on hate crime and encourage them and people they know to come forward

.  Establish mutual support  peer groups and report to appropriate authorities.
